Cartoons was formed at the beginning of 2005 in Skopje, Macedonia, three neighbours Dejan Ignjatov, Jovo Mijovik and the ex-member Bozhidar Nikolovski under the name Caashkavally. In the beginning of 2006, Bozhidar quits the project due to obligations in his private life. Dejan and Jovo continued producing under the project name Cartoons. In spite of the fact that they are young, their music is quite mature and euphonious. Dejan Ignjatov the musical virtuoso represents the more melodic side of the project, composing unique, harmonious and complex melodies, on the other hand Jovo Mijovik is the working force of the project, responsible for the sound quality, the atmospheres and the ravishing tone of the sound. They started producing in FL Studio and after a while they realized that the Cubase (Nuendo) platform is more suitable for them and their style, which can be defined as a blend of the two basic components: Day and Night. They have managed to create a matchless mixture of these components and fitted them masterfully in their music.
