Jorge Ballar aka DjPŏ, home town is San Jose Costa Rica, grew up with music, since 9 years old always experimenting with different instruments from brass, to strings, to percussion. First band called “ALTER EGO”, Played drums with them since year 1994, then travelled to Europe in 1996 and start getting contact with Electronic Music and various sub-genders. Then started a Punk Rock band “DECADENCIA” and helped in some side-projects like “SIN LUCRO”, in 1997. In 1998 was the first time that actually listened to Goa-Psychedelic Trance in Northridge, CA, it was a record of “Astral Projection” called “Another World”, then got influenced by early artists such as: “Paps”, “Hallucinogen”, “Parasense”, “Xenomorph”, “Dark Soho”, start mixing back in 2000, and since then have shared stages with artists such as: Tim Schuldt & Four Carry Nuts, Skazi, Neuromotor, Hiyarant, Malice In Wonderland, Frantic Noise, Megalopsy,  Baphomet Engine, Ocelot,  Psychotic Micro, Psyhamaa, E.S.X.S, Dragon, Blisargon Demogorgon, Naked Tourist, Mino, Menog, Absolum.DjPŏ is one of the biggest party promoters in Costa Rica (“Threshold”) and still promoting new events every year, now is working on production, has a project and is just a matter of time to release some tracks.
